Sport reporter GUWAHATI, Jan 9 – For the first time in its history Assam Cricket Association (ACA) will hold the selection committee meeting of the East Zone here at the Landmark Hotels tomorrow at 2 pm.National selector Raja Venkat, who is also the chairman of the East Zone selection committee, will be present in the meeting along with the representatives of the other states.The ACA secretary Bikash Baruah informed that as a convenor of the East Zone, they are holding the important selection committee meeting. He further revealed that, as their would be no international matches during the Duleep Trophy Tournament, Indian captain Mohinder Singh Dhoni is likely to lead the East Zone team.Baruah further stated that Margherita team has been debarred from the U-17 inter district cricket tournament for the RG Baruah Trophy.
