It'll be pre-mature to say anything: Nanavati

The BCCI hearing into the slapgate controversy concluded in Ahmedabad on Friday. The BCCI appointed hearing commissioner - Sudhir Nanavati spoke exclusively to CNN-IBN's Roma Khanna after the hearing.

Sudhir Nanavati: My impression is that the hearing went on very well. both were very cooperative and whatever I wanted to record, I completed that job and now I just have to write my report and submit it to the BCCI on Monday.

CNN-IBN: What was the impression that you got from Harbhajan Singh? Was it like the way he was saying when he acknowledged to the match referee during the IPL that yes 'I am guilty and regret the action'. Was it same thing that you got around this time as well from him?

Sudhir Nanavati: I don't know because such type of thing was not a part of my hearing at all. I wanted to find out like a fact finding inquiry about the incident. It was nothing about what is the behaviour of Harbhajan Singh or anyone else after the incident.

CNN-IBN: What are those, if you can explain in brief some of the things.

Sudhir Nanavati: I still have to apply my mind on the statements which I have recorded and then I have to write the report. So, it will be pre-mature at this stage to explain anything that they have said.

CNN-IBN: What about Sreesanth? What were you looking at when you spoke to him about the incident?

Sudhir Nanavati: As I said, I really wanted to find out about the incident and the surrounding circumstances, so, naturally, I had to ask both of them as both were involved in the incident.
